the past, traditional topdressed synthetic turf systems worked by
introducing silica into the turf to support the fibers. Whether
the product would hold and keep the topdressing material inside
the turf is proportionate to the number of fiber tips per square
foot. Whether the product would absorb impact and prevent over compaction
depended on the systems ability to maintain enough open surface
area inside the turf. Muddy shoes, leaves, berries, dust, and other
debris that lands on or blows over the turf would contaminate the
product over the years which all contributed to a hard, over compacted,
non functional product by filling this open space. This usually
occured in 6 months to 2 years depending on the materials used in
the initial installation and local conditions...Until

PAR 3 IMPACT GOLF GREENS The T-TeKĻ 1200 - 1.5" turf utilizing the TourFlex In-Fill System offers the only true impact golf green that will hold a shot from 185 yards for years to come. The system contains approximately 8 pounds of topdressing components per square foot to provide maximum impact absorption. As the golf ball lands it will check and release like a natural bent grass green. Although the active ingredient inside the turf constantly works to prevent over-compaction it does not affect the speed of the putt! The stimp speed on a T-TeKĻ 1200 golf greens can be adjusted between a 8.5 and 12. |

SOCCER FIELDS T-TeKĻ 4000 * 1.75" pile height turf contains more fiber tips per square yard than any other "filled" synthetic turf product. The turf is filled only half way using a combination of specified silica and the TourFlex In-Fill System TM. The system offers superior foot support without the "grab" associated with products completely filled with topdressing.

TEE LINE (WINTER TEE'S) T-TeKĻ 5000 * 2" pile height Tee Turf utilizes a combination of the TourFlex In-Fill System TM and specified silica. Tee areas are constantly contaminated with muddy shoes and other debrie. This along with the wrong size silica will make the tee line as hard as concrete. Synthetic turf systems that use only silica or a combination of rubber and silica will fail. Rubber, because of its high volume to weight ratio tends to migrate up and out of the system. It can't work if its not there. The TourFlex In-Fill System TM (which has no half life - so it won't stop working!) continually agitates the fill components to keep it playable. |
